Hey, I'm Ria! She/her, female, vibing on this planet since 2004!

I go both ways! In other words, I'm bisexual! I mostly have a preference for men. I don't care about how society expects women like me to present, I don't like to dress myself up in clothing considered feminine, as such, I have boyish hair and dress in a masculine style.

I can speak English and Spanish. You're not really gonna see me speak Spanish though, I mostly speak it with my family!

I'm autistic and introverted. I'm funny and I always tend to be pretty quirky. That includes but not limited to sometimes typing in Xtreme Kool Letterz in case you somehow didn't notice, and speaking/typing in a non-profanity PG-13 way… I dunno how to describe that, but for an example, talking about rather sensual and private stuff without directly going into graphic detail or using profanes nor vulgar terms, instead using lesser or silly terms like "what the frick": "To be honest, there's not enough scenes that involve wieners and boinking in Spongebob Squarepants." Does this make sense?

My skills and hobbies are art, writing, music producing, 3D modeling, and video games!

uhh, side note… I dunno if I should put lucid dreaming as a hobby if I haven't even achieved a lucid dream yet? I've been trying to do it for months now (I first wrote this paragraph in August 2026), but to no avail… although I've only had two dreams ABOUT lucid dreaming that only happens for less than 20 seconds, but are not ACTUAL lucid dreams. I'm still trying, okay?

I especially love doing art… in other words I love drawing!! I’m also slowly learning 3D modeling and music producing, but I mostly draw! My art is mostly digital, but I do traditional art for when I’m making concept art and character design sketches.
None of my higher effort art will look exactly the same, as I experiment a lot with mixed media (digitally, cause traditional is too messy and I don’t wanna deal with that) and tools such as posterization and unsharp mask.

    My Selfships!

  • WENDELL WYNN!!! (My OC that I draw A LOT. He’s for a WIP series I'm making and he’s my main F/O)

I'm 100% absolutely okay with sharing my F/Os! I LOVE SHARING THEM ALL!!!!! If you're not comfortable sharing any F/Os we have in common, feel free to block me for your comfort.

My art style is a mix of 90s and 2000s cartoons, and surrealism, experimenting quite a lot with various tools and brushes.

To get into more detail, let’s go into the cartoon part first. I take the energetic and zany influences from Ed Edd n Eddy, Ren and Stimpy, and Cow and Chicken. I never watched R&S but I really like its style so I take from it anyway. I took the chroma keyed pattern effect in clothing from Chowder cause I like how weird it looks.

I also have some shapey influences from shows like Powerpuff Girls, Fairly Oddparents, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, and Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I even got influenced from the… I guess kinda “ugly-ish” styles of Klasky Csupo cartoons like Rugrats… I can’t remember if I ever watched that or any other shows from that studio though.

Now let’s get into non-show media! Pizza Tower is what really made me start drawing in the style of 90s cartoons back in 2024. And let me tell you… THATS WHEN I REALIZED THAT 90S/2000S STYLE IS TRULY WHAT FIT ME!! I used to draw semi realistically before that, but that slowly started to wither away after I got hyperfixated on PT. I’ll get more into the semi realistic thing in another paragraph.
I also like the styles of surreal games like OMORI, Hylics, and Yume Nikki (that also includes its fangames).

For artists, I got really interested and influenced by… well, artworks by surrealism artists! You name a surrealism artist, and there is a more than good chance I’ll say yes! You might be thinking Salvador Dali or Frida Kahlo, but trust me, IT'S NOT JUST THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!

And last but not least, miscellaneous stuff. My dreams, and surrealism aesthetics including but not limited to weirdcore and dreamcore and liminal spaces.

Okay, let’s get back to the semi realism thing. I can also draw characters semi realistically, but I used to normally draw like that in the past, I got bored of it and found out that 90s/2000s cartoon styles are my jam and suits me more, like I said before with Pizza Tower. I do still draw characters realistically, but only when I really feel like it every once in a while, or when I’m providing references for artists who lean more to realistic proportions.

Do you make art as a main source of income?

No. At least not for the foreseeable future. It may sound nice on paper, but when you take a look at how so many job artists are overworked, the worry of not knowing when you’re gonna get paid and trying to find clients, scammers, etc, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows.

For example, look into the manga industry and how Webtoon treats its creators. So many horror stories about going under the pressure of needing to work all day every day releasing 10+ panels per week, not being allowed to continue their series for years or even ever again whenever it doesn’t do well, and artists getting psychically and mentally exhausted. Hunter x Hunter is infamous for going on several hiatuses, some lasting even years, due to the chronic back pain of Yoshihiro Togashi, the creator of the series, that can even leave him bedridden and made him unable to sit in a chair for 2 years. It goes without saying that this is all horrible, and I’m not wanting to deal with ANY of that. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to do your passion to make a living, but please don’t let it destroy your health!

I make money at my part time job two days a week. At least in day jobs you’ll know when you’ll get paid guaranteed, and you’ll feel more secure with benefits, protection from higher ups, and have actual structure over doing stuff like freelance art. Plus I can actually go by with a set routine, feeling secure and well maintained with actual structure.

Honestly, my autistic brain that knows jackpoop about business stuff and has routines especially whenever I know I need to go somewhere that day such as work or a dentist appointment would have its nerves wracked by having no schedule, no structure or stability, no boss to talk to whenever I need help, and not knowing when I'll get paid. Plus, working a day job even part time two days a week for years has taught me a lot of things that I REALLY needed. Even when you have a role like mine that doesn't really involve dealing with people (for the most part), there will be times when a customer may need help from you. It teaches you to grow the h*ck up even more, even as an adult you never truly stop learning even after you graduate/drop out of high school or get all the degrees you want in college/university. Yes, there's gonna be times when you want to take a nap right when you get back home (please don't just stay up during ungodly late hours!), but especially if you're autistic like me, having a structure can do wonders over being freelance, especially mentally. (That's not to say EVERY autistic person will have mental benefits to this though, no two autistic brains are built the same after all!) Even to this day in my early 20s, I still haven't felt like I've truly grown up, despite being a full grown adult who still lives with my parents and brothers.

What are your artistic values?

Draw whatever the heck YOU want! No need to go into the pressure of whatever trendy memes or art styles that may be going around, do it for the love and joy of the craft. Don’t worry about how perfect your art looks! Perfectionism will only hold you back. I used to struggle with this in the past…

Why do you not use social media frequently anymore?

There’s way too much negative stuff that goes on in these kind of sites. People are arguing over the smallest things in replies, getting angry and giving out ruthless punishments over something they don’t like, people purposely saying trashy nonsense to get a lot of angry attention like “You know what? The guy from the 1940s with the square mustache is a good guy actually!” and even some people take the chance to get the sweet thrilling rush of getting lotsa likes and reposts off of doing XTREMELY EPIK OWNZ like “L + RATIO + UR MOM HAHA” which will also give the ragebaiter even more attention, etc.

Its especially gotten worse over the past few years due to politics, despite me literally having every politic related term I can think of from various countries being muted on every platform I'm on, people talking about it will manage to get onto my feeds by not using terms I have muted. Politics are str8 up getting turbocharged in society: people are getting absolutely radicalized both left and right wing, political conversations are totally becoming more civil and respectful even if their views don’t align (/s), and nearly everywhere you go, whether in real life or on digital screens, there is too much pressure to talk about politics around you. If a conversation gets into political territory, I either try to change the topic or leave. All the times I have seen and heard political stuff, it is against my own will. I will NOT be hearing or getting involved any of that regardless of where in the world it’s coming from.

Most importantly, I want to focus more on improving my skills for my personal project, especially in preparation to make my magnum opus WIP series Pink Blue Moon as best as it can be, but not waiting until it’s perfect!

No, it’s not because of bad mental health or anything like that. It’s actually the exact opposite of that. And golly, how I wished I could have lessened social media use during the covid era of the planet Earth. It made my anxiety and fear of germs WORSE!!!! But no, I was inside my house 7 MONTHS STRAIGHT out of fear of getting covid, my teenage self was sitting in bed constantly living on screens, playing video games and gushing over freaking kpop and jpop idols! But don’t worry, I’m doing TONS better now! I’m still thriving a lot! Going to work part time two days a week, going out to places I like, going on vacations every several months or so, working on personal projects and improving on my skills, etc.

I don’t know if Youtube counts as social media, but I still use that frequently, and I also use Discord pretty regularly, and Tumblr to a lesser extent. That’s not to say three of these sites don’t have the aforementioned issues, but they’re the only social sites where I can easily completely avoid these problems… though it is extremely rare I do come across them there.

Why are you not answering me on Twitter/Bluesky?

Because I now pretty much only use those two sites for posting art I wanna share, sharing whatever art I like I come across, and then leave. This is why I do not want people messaging me on those sites for anything, whether it would be commissions or anything questions they may have. I promise it’s not because I don’t like you or anything like that! If you have anything in mind, your best bet is to tell me in email or Discord. Tumblr is also pretty viable.

What is your stance on generative AI?

No siree, that’s baloney! I am absolutely not a fan of the theft it does, how it’s stealing jobs from creative people, and the proven environmental damage it has done. I know those are the most given of why creatives like myself hate genAI, but what if you’re not creative? Non-creatives wouldn’t care about any of that and just wants to create kool images simply by typing, you may like watching sports or gaming livestreams, so let’s make an analogy using those…

Imagine you’re watching some sort of live entertainment, like a basketball game or a streamer playing a video game you like. You get so intrigued, you watch them struggle so hard, so much ups and downs… and then finally… they win! And then you realize it was all generated by AI. How would you feel? Is that interest immediately destroyed? Disappointment? That’s exactly how we feel when we realize a nice looking illustration was just AI generated baloney that someone typed up. Who in the world would watch the World Cup, the Super Bowl, or Eurovision if there’s no human effort in them and instead was all just something made with AI?

What even is this Pink Blue Moon thing you keep on talking about?

It’s a series currently in the making that’s my main project! I’d describe in a nutshell as Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, but for weirdcore/dreamcore people. JJBA meets OMORI meets Yume Nikki and a whole bunch of other surreal media. JJBA permanently altered my brain chemistry when I watched it in 2021, I'm telling you! As you may have guessed even if you only know just a little bit about JJBA, PBM is a surreal and weird series with really standing out fashion (with a surreal twist!) and a mechanic similar to stands, except those “stands” have a different term, “specters” (it’s a placeholder term for now), and they come from the dreams of whoever has dreamed of them. Its genres are surreal, comedy, action/adventure, and psychological horror.

Here’s an overview: someone has blurred the line between dreams and reality, and that’s caused things from people’s dreams, both lucid and non-lucid, to manifest into the real world, which is supposed to be as mundane as our real life, and that actually has caused a lot of disorientation and confusion for people in real life worldwide. EVERYBODY CAN SEE AND HEAR THEM. No, they’re not normal hallucinations where only the hallucinator can see, everyone can see them. And literally ANYONE can manifest them, whether it's voluntary or not. Those are the specters I mentioned earlier. Who’s gonna stop it? The unlucky everypeople in each part taking place in different years that go by, with fashion that stands out who just so happened to have something really horrible happen to them caused by these collective hallucinations, of course! They go on an adventure through their dreams and reality to solve who has done it, lucid and non-lucid, and to find them to put an end to this weird phenomenon, while also occasionally getting faced by problems they can’t escape from, not even in their happy little dream worlds. Oh, and it's not gonna be as simple as trying to find the culprit... there WILL be enemies sent out by them who get in the way to sabotage and stop their efforts, and they're even weirder and more fashionable.

Here's a link to the Toyhouse folder containing characters made for it, and more info about them and the series in general!

Can you draw something for me?

Sure! That is if you’re up for an art trade (only if I recognize and/or we follow each other in another social media site) or buy a commission from me… well, the commission part is actually a “not yet” case cause I’m still trying to figure things out.

Why does your site look like this?

I wanted my site to be one big mishmash of my most favorite aesthetics, ESPECIALLY WEIRDCORE! The home page is frutiger aero themed because I grew up with Windows 7 and I am so nostalgic for the aesthetic, and I figured it fits best as the homepage! I wanted to go for a kidcore aesthetic for this specific page, to invoke a feeling that it is "my room." Wacky pomo is for the Kool Stuff pages.

Where do u stand in politics???

Sorry to get briefly into politics, but I’m not a fan of pizza with sauce. I don’t like the taste of sauce.
